Erin Yogasundram is a serial Entrepreneur with a deep understanding of popular American culture, commerce and societal trends. She grew up in New York City, attended the George Washington University in Washington D.C. (majoring in Sociology), and is now living in Los Angeles with her young daughter.
In her college dorm room, she founded Shop Jeen, an e-commerce department store for young women which dominated social media 2011-2017 and generated $10MM in revenue, while pioneering trends like influencer marketing, editorial commerce, pay-over time, and the concept of “emotional identity-based commerce”.
In 2017 she Co-Founded an entertainment powerhouse with her former partner, Kerwin Frost, producing his Talk Show, a Telethon, Film Festivals, built a 70x70 cardboard castle Pop-Up shop with 7 rooms at Complex Con, and managed Brand partnerships with brands like Adidas, 7-11, Beats by Dre, Pioneer, Microsoft, Fanta, Calvin Klein, Moncler & more, as well as guiding the overall strategy of Kerwin’s career as a DJ, radio show host and fashion personality.
In 2020, she founded an independent consultancy, Jeen & Co (formerly Snapback), whose clients include large media corporations, emerging fashion and product brands, and artistic talent impacting culture. “Strategy Consulting'' broadly describes Jeen & Co’s robust service offering, in which Erin advises company decision-makers on overall strategy for internal departments which impact culture, ensuring meaningful contributions to the world are being made by adding purpose, while maximizing efficiency and building towards growth. Erin’s no-BS approach and unapologetic nature pushes her clients to their maximum potential and results in impactful work that wouldn’t have otherwise existed. She is an innovator behind the scenes, bleeding and sweating to push pop culture forward in a way that benefits society. Having fully operated both an e-commerce fashion retail, and entertainment services business, Erin has proven experience in scaling brands and talent.
Erin cares deeply about the mental health of creatives and entrepreneurs she works with, and blends personal coaching into her practice, aiming to offer support that wasn’t available to her while previously building prior businesses.
